Tekenen Onder Invloed
TekenenOnderInvloed / DrawingUnderInfluence is an experimental multidisciplinary perception- and drawing-concept for those who want to look beyond their pencil. Initiated as a positive approach towards the notorious Sensory Overload, the project has grown into a playful tool to channel these stimuli in a creative way. TOI / DUI triggers the imagination, develops intuition and gives way to creative impulses.
Participants are invited to respond directly on paper while a series of rapid consecutive scenes unfold under the influence of light, sound, performance, projections and props. Tactical concepts are used to provoke them to cross their own boundaries. And lost souls will always find the nude model as infinite beacon in the chaos.
TOI / DUI has manifested itself as a challenging and contemporary concept, a platform for new intermedia collaborations and a curriculum for art education. It has been invited by various art institutes and universities in The Netherlands and will soon be available for corporate purposes.
